Heat Transfer Interactive Simulations
Our CDF simulations can be downloaded and used offline with the Wolfram CDF plug-in. They are also available on the Wolfram Demonstration Project website. Our interactive MATLAB simulations must be viewed using MATLAB software. They can be downloaded and viewed offline. Click on the (.m file) link to download the simulation file to your computer. Hover your mouse over the simulation preview for a description. For an overview of MATLAB, visit MathWorks. Please contact us at learnmeche@gmail.com if you identify problems with any of the simulations or if you have suggestions for simulations we might prepare.

Energy 2D is an interactive heat transfer simulation program that models all three types of heat transfer (conduction, convection, and radiation). It allows the user to design "computational experiments" to test a hypothesis or solve a problem. Developed by Charles Xie at the Concord Consortium.
